Global Ties Detroit is excited to work with The International Visitor Leadership Program on hosting The Future of Indian Democracy Program. This program will be focusing on exploring concepts of democracy, government, and citizenship. We will be hosting a group of four (4) elected leaders and political party officials. These leaders and officials will observe programs promoting civic awareness and youth empowerment including schools, civic groups, and inter-faith settings. They also will be identifying skills to foster leadership, which includes policy formulation and decision-making strategies, as well as the use of social media in political and advocacy campaigns.
