The Custom Reform and Modernization program is an International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP), administered by MCID that supports the economic development professionals and international trade professionals in augmenting Iraqi customs with international customs. This program focuses on economic security and trade, customs enforcement, economics and industry, business, and international trade and investment. These fellows will examine practices in international relations and better create a welcoming business environment. This program will include site visits at ports of entry and foreign-trade zones, and highlight the role of private companies in driving economic growth and innovation.
