The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) World Learning Women’s Entrepreneurship project will examine the promotion and support that women entrepreneurs in the United States receive. The objective of this project is to assist participants in creating a network of women entrepreneurs and leaders across Kazakhstan and creating networking connections across the United States while simultaneously examining ways to overcome gender bias. During their visit in Detroit they will be interacting with women business owners by discussing the similar and different experiences and challenges that they may come across in their career. They also will be discussing effective policies to support entrepreneurship and public and private sector methods to facilitate market access.
