Global Ties Detroit will be hosting twelve (12) government officials, politicians, NGO leaders, and journalists participating in the Foreign Policy project delegation. These twelve (12) delegates are from Austria, the European Union, France, Germany, Italy, Republic of North Macedonia, Republic of Turkiye, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, United Kingdom, and USNATO. This project is sponsored by IVLP and administered by Meridian International Center designed to allow participants to explore U.S. economic, political, and security goals while exposing them to the U.S. foreign policy decision making process. During their stay these delegates will be meeting with key players in the U.S. foreign policy decision making process, have discussions with national security professionals, as well as meet and talk to university professors and students about world affairs topics.
