Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Sudan

Seventeen (17) members of international NGOs will explore Detroit-based non-profit management strategies, relationships, and future aspirations that have been vital to rebuilding the city. This program will demonstrate to participants how non-profits have been a vehicle for economic development and how similar methods can be deployed in their home countries. Local resources will provide insight on how non-profit organizations have been a key aspect to Detroit’s redevelopment and recovery throughout the last decade by offering services and charitable contributions, while anchoring communities during times of need. The program will also focus on NGOs involved in Muslim-American community and ethnic diversity and how these organizations improve the lives of their community and beyond.
