Global Ties Detroit is excited to be hosting the U.S. Department of State sponsored Meridian International Center administered Virtual Entrepreneurship program from Syria! This program is a three week virtual program designed to examine the effectiveness of the business sector in alleviating poverty, examine the legal and regulatory systems, and discuss societal barriers facing entrepreneurs. During this program these 14 delegates will be looking over best practices in business management, advocacy, and social entrepreneurship. They will also be meeting with women’s organizations to examine the role of women’s leadership and mentorship in Detroit.
