The Foreign Press Center is an on-the-record reporting tour that allows foreign journalists to report on policy-relevant topics. This project was designed to promote accurate and balanced reporting on the United States by foreign media outlets, by providing participants with direct access to American information sources. Global Ties Detroit will be hosting fifteen (15) journalists participating in this program nominated by the U.S. Embassies. While these journalists will be reporting based on tour content, this program also allows participants to publish quality reporting, and to expand their understanding of U.S. culture, society, and values.
