NGO Leadership in Times of Conflict
This US State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is for 13 NGO leaders and managers from Syria exploring NGO Leadership in Times of Conflict.
The delegations program from Detroit, MI will explore best practices in disaster management and recovery. It will also address preparation, mobilization and coordination at all levels of government; the private sector; and non-governmental, community and civil society organizations. This project will illustrate whole-of-community preparedness, response and recovery through hands on activities alongside U.S. experts and citizens.
