This US State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is for 4 economic and social policy makers at the city and regional level, and social entrepreneurs,  from Italy exploring Economic Development and Urban Revitalization.

The delegations program from Detroit, MI will examine private and public sector strategies and partnerships that spur economic development in depressed urban areas, policies and incentives for stimulating entrepreneurship, methods for addressing the root socio‑economic causes of violent extremism, ways to leverage public and private partnership, and U.S. efforts to reinvigorate its own economy and create jobs.
