Experts will examine and share best practices with U.S. institutions that have expertise in fundraising through creating museum memberships and affinity groups, working with trustees, cultivating new audiences; and other methods. They will explore funding models for revenue generation utilized by their U.S. counterparts; discover new ways that U.S. historic and cultural institutions generate income to sustain themselves in the era of COVID-19 and beyond; and examine museum operations including security, internal climate controls for document and artifact preservation, and health and safety measures for on-site staff during COVID-19.
