Arts Education as an Economic Driver
Global Ties Detroit is facilitating a virtual exchange between a South African delegation and Detroit-based arts organizations. Through meetings with the Detroit community, the South Africans will explore community-based arts programs that address STEAM education; learn about innovative music educations programs, especially those in under-served areas; and explore advanced community-based programs including incubators for digital creative skills.
