Combating Infectious Diseases
Medical professionals from African countries will virtually visit Detroit to explore federal public health and infectious disease policy and programs. They will analyze the role of research and best practices to treat infectious diseases, and examine community-based clinics and outreach health centers. The professionals will also review the laws related to distributing vaccines and medicines and view the measures in place to control infectious diseases in hospitals.
