In partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Paris and World Learning, Global Ties Detroit is implementing a virtual, peer-to-peer roundtable discussion on the topic of countering violent extremism. Educators, school social workers, and school security specialists in French schools will engage with American counterparts to talk about responding to student concerns about safety, combating harassment of students or other hate crimes against students, and watching for/ responding to signs of violence in schools.
