Minority Participation in the Democratic Process
A delegation of civic leaders from the Western Hemisphere will meet virtually with their Detroit counterparts to discuss strategies to increase community participation in the political process; explore the roles of education, religion and culture in a pluralistic society, and examine ways to engage youth, especially minorities and underserved youth, in political affairs and civic society.
