Global Ties Detroit is excited to be hosting (IVLP) sponsored, Cultural Vistas administered program Cooperative Efforts in Combating Transnational Crime focusing on promoting global cooperation and fighting transnational crime. This program helps provide these government officials and entrepreneurs with a greater understanding of the American criminal justice system and the legal framework for combating a range of transnational crimes. These fellows will be meeting with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies as well as policy makers to explore international efforts to combat cross-border criminal activity and assist victims of transnational crimes.
