This February we will be welcoming six (6) emerging women leaders participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Mississippi Consortium for International Development (MCID) sponsored Women in Business program from Egypt. The goal of this program is to increase the participation of women in Egyptian and global economy and observe the effectiveness of new startups, innovator hobs, and incubators in creating jobs and access to capital and leadership development. During their stay these women will be examining factors in the U.S. used to encourage women to become entrepreneurs and leaders in their communities. They also will discover strategies for leadership development, marketing, education, and innovation.
