    Virtual Talk Series Session Six

    Chagall, Communism and Chernobyl: A Travelogue

    Ed Clemente has been to over 80 countries spanning across six continents. His recent travels in Eastern Europe, as part of a Global Ties Detroit delegation (Belarus) and on his own (Moldova and Ukraine), are home to friendly people, break-away republics, nuclear disaster zones, major Roman, Medieval, WWI & WWII monuments, echoes of the Soviet empire, UNESCO sites, palaces, churches, castles, and more. Join Ed as he shares his perspectives on the unique personalities, sights, and experiences from these fascinating places!

    Ed Clemente is currently a two-term Governor Appointee as a Michigan Liquor Control Commissioner, working with all businesses that deal with Spirits. He has garnered many experiences as a State Representative including task forces on electric vehicles, Bio-Sciences, film Industry, Brownfield's economic development, quality of life, and Advanced Energy. Clemente is was a previously elected College Trustee and the President of a Chamber of Commerce. He is currently hosting a podcast and a member of the Workforce Advisors for Wayne County Community College. Clemente is also a former college football and amateur international rugby player.
