    U.S. European Security Challenges

    Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland

    A group of delegates from nations across Europe will connect with local leaders to learn about the U.S. security and defense-making process, as well as examine specific security issues such as regional conflicts, weapons proliferation, energy security, homeland security, international terrorism, and the use of preventative diplomacy to address these challenges. The group will also share information on the European security architecture, including the revolving roles of NATO, the EU, the UN, and other international organizations in dealing with global crises. This program will explore the benefits of U.S.-European cooperation on security policy worldwide.
