Through the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP), this spring this multi-regional project will aim to assess U.S. strategies against international trafficking, particularly crimes against women and children, by reviewing policy formulation, enforcement, and administration. It examines government, law enforcement, courts, and organizations in prevention and prosecution while exploring victim support programs and international law enforcement collaboration in trafficking cases. The Human Trafficking Prevention and Mitigation program is being administered by the Institute of International Education Program. This multi-regional project welcomes leaders within their communities to Detroit, representing Argentina, Bangladesh, Barbados, Bulgaria, Fiji, Finland, Germany, India, Israel, Jamaica, Liberia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Nepal, Philippines, Poland, Republic of North Macedonia, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
