Global Ties Detroit will be welcoming International Visitor Leadership Program Cultural Vistas delegation of seven (7) teachers from Switzerland. During their stay they will be exploring U.S. approaches and practices to provide primary and secondary school students from immigrant backgrounds with equal access to educational opportunities to develop intellectually and socially. This program consists of participants learning about the U.S. education system, research, and best practices for facilitating student success and access to educational curriculum in K-12 schools. They also will be discussing efforts to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in education to dismantle systemic discrimination.
