Global Ties Detroit will be hosting ten (10) delegates participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Meridian International Center program Promoting Religious Freedom as a Constitutional Right. This program was designed for participants representing different religious and secular communities in South India to engage with counterparts in the United States on advocating for religious freedom in the context of constitutional rights and building bridges between religious groups. During their stay this delegation will be examining the legal and practical challenges of promoting religious freedom and diversity in public and political life in the United States.
