This fall seven (7) delegates from the Pacific Islands participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program Meridian International Center program Innovative Leadership in Higher Education and Workforce Development will be visiting Detroit! This program was designed for educators, school administrators, industry workforce recruiters, and government officials working on education issues from the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. This program allows them to explore the U.S. educational system and examine the role of educational institutions in promoting economic prosperity through workforce development. During their stay they will be visitng universities, schools, government and private sector stakeholders, and nonprofits.
