A group of ten (10) government officials from Singapore are coming to Detroit to connect with their counterparts, explore best practices from U.S. civil society for the inclusion of minority religious and ethnic groups, and build connections between U.S. civil society organizations and the younger generation of Singapore's MMO to better understand their role as prominent interlocutors in the formation of Singapore domestic policy. As most participants haven’t been to the United States, this will provide a positive first experience with and better understanding of the United States, the state of Michigan, and city of Detroit.
