Building Capacity of Social Media Experts Working to Create a Safe and Responsible Digital Space
A group of 7 Pakistani media professionals will meet with correspondents in the U.S. and discuss practices to counter disinformation, online extremism, and cyber-harassment. The program will help create linkages between the U.S. and Pakistan on combating digital violence. Participants will be able to explore how the digital media have begun to develop its own space, separate from traditional media, working under its own set of practices, guidelines and editorial oversight.
