Global Ties Detroit will be hosting five (5) educators,ncivil servants, and government officials participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program Meridian International Center delegation from Indonesia. These delegates will be visiting Detroit to explore accommodations made under the Americans with Disabilities Act as a potential model for a more inclusive society economy in Indonesia. The objective of this program is to promote data driven policy-making related to disability rights and inclusion. They will also be examining strategies and best practices for fully including students/participants with disabilities in academic and vocational training programs and careers.
