Thirteen (13) emerging leaders will be visiting Detroit to meet with their professional counterparts. The objectives of this project include: examining ways to foster local business opportunities as well as how to take advantage of new technology to generate employment opportunities; exploring social enterprise as a model for business and social development; and discussing skillsets that qualify youth for the job market and efforts that demonstrate to businesses the benefits of hiring well trained youth.
