This US State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is for six researchers and community advocates from Russia and their U.S. State Dept. interpreters, who will be visiting Detroit to examine Combating Violent Extremism.

The delegation's program in Detroit, MI will  provide the visitors with insight into how the actions of clergy, government officials, academics, law enforcement, journalists, and community leaders in the United States can contribute to an environment that nurtures acceptance and discourages expressions of extremism.
