This US State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is for twenty-one government and business officials, as well as journalists and academics, from the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Moldova, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Spain, and United Kingdom.

While in Detroit, the delegation seeks to examine The Contemporary U.S. Economy: Financial Markets, Trade and Economic Development.They will be accompanied by their U.S. State Dept. liaisons. 

The delegation's program in Detroit, MI will help the visitors examine U.S. financial markets in their domestic and global contexts and explain U.S. perspectives on international economic and monetary issues.
