A team of six professionals from Jordan are coming to Detroit to discuss techniques to identify forms of gender-based abuse, report abuse, prosecute abusers, and provide assistance and protection to victims of gender-based violence. They will also explore collaboration between law enforcement, government, and civil society to prevent and combat gender-based violence as well as examining the education and outreach initiatives which focus on avoiding perpetuating gender-based violence, and combating trafficking in persons.
