This US State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is for five civic activists and community leaders from Georgia and their U.S. State Dept. liaison, who will be visiting Detroit to examine Youth Leadership & Engagement in the United States.

The delegation's program in Detroit, MI will help the visitors develop a better understanding of how to introduce programs that promote civic responsibility and assist minority youth in marginalized communities to work for social, economic and political empowerment.
