Combating Infectious Diseases
India
As part of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), six (6) medical healthcare professionals from India are visiting Detroit and other communities throughout Michigan. During their exchange, the participants are observing how U.S. health systems are responding to COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. These professionals will review and discuss ways to establish cross-sectoral communication and strengthen collaboration between governments and local health officials to prevent, detect and respond to disease outbreaks.
