A team of six professionals from Colombia will visit Detroit to observe how female leaders mentor the next generation in various specialties and areas of expertise in service to their communities. They will meet with women leaders in the Detroit area promoting economic development, environmentally sustainability, and political empowerment. This experience will familiarize participants with the constitutional, judicial, and legislative processes that promote gender equality and protect human rights that contribute to the overall goal of a peaceful society.
