Workforce Development
This US State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is for five educators and employment leaders from Bermuda, UK and their U.S. State Dept. liaison, who will be visiting Detroit to explore Workforce Development.
The delegation's program in Detroit, MI will help the visitors look at successful work force development/readiness programs and consider the history and evolution of community colleges and trade schools and how faculty and administrators adapt the curriculum to an economy’s present and forecast needs.

The opportunity to welcome and work with international delegations visiting Detroit provides a very rich experience. To be engaged in this work is significant and very rewarding.
