    Small World Cafe

This summer, we are partnering with Gulf Coast Diplomacy Council in Pensacola, FL for a Summer Event Series to bring the world to your home through informal conversations with professionals from around the world. The fourth event of the Summer Event Series is Small World Cafe.

On Thursday, 30 July 2020, from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Eastern, you are invited to meet (or reconnect!) with Bruno Barros of Brazil. Bruno was Gulf Coast Diplomacy's first University of West Florida intern and is an alumnus of that school where he received his MBA & a degree in international relations. For the last several years, Barros has worked in the container logistics industry with Danish company Mærsk & is currently based in Angola as the country manager for Safmarine, part of the Mærsk Group.  Barros will talk about life & business in the time of COVID with a special emphasis on his July 2020 time in a quarantine facility in Luanda and his son’s recent birth in Lisbon.
