The Players Detroit Playhouse: 3321 East Jefferson Avenue Detroit, Michigan 48207. Join us for our exclusive member's only event--the 2017 Global Ties Detroit Annual Dinner! We'll celebrate at the historic Players Playhouse, a theatre designed in 1926 on East Jefferson in Detroit. The building is designed in the style of the sixteenth-century English Renaissance by William E. Kapp, who also designed the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, Meadowbrook Hall, Detroit Historical Museum, and the Wilson Theatre. The interior stonework was created by sculptor, Corrado Parducci, and murals painted by muralist, Paul Honore.
Our host for the evening will the Roop Raj, anchor/reporter at Fox 2. Our speaker will be Sana Abed-Kotob, Division Chief, Office of International Visitors, U. S. Department of State. We will have a silent auction, along with a strolling dinner of various Detroit food options. Annual Dinner is generously sponsored by Matthew Kasle and the Kasle Family Foundation, with additional support by Oakland County Economic Development and Community Affairs.

A lot of people spend half their lives to get the opportunity to meet the people that we met in just 10 days [in Detroit]. This concentration of knowledge and resources brought me one step closer to being global.
The opportunity to welcome and work with international delegations visiting Detroit provides a very rich experience. To be engaged in this work is significant and very rewarding. The world is becoming smaller every day and Global Ties Detroit contributes greatly in building strong bridges with people and nations across the globe.
